For the second installment of adidas Consortium’s roving “Sneaker Exchange” program, the Three Stripes has teamed up with NYC retailer KITH and women’s sneaker specialist NAKED to introduce the brand new NMD CS2 silhouette.
The three-way collab brings together two of the streetwear world’s rising stars (both brands had solo collabs with adidas last year, which you can see here and here) to create a striking new sock-like shoe that abandons the conventional lacing system.

The white Boost sole and the removal of the lacing highlight the CS2’s vibrant and textured upper, which is inspired by high resolution imagery of powder paints colliding and exploding. Three stripes run from the top of the tongue to the tip of the sneaker toe, while the elasticated and asymmetric top-line adds to the ultra-modern aesthetic.
The shoe arrives in two colorways: one predominately pink; the other in shades of sandstone. The three brands say the aesthetic speaks to the female sneaker enthusiast, but is still unisex enough to be adopted by the guys in bigger sizes.
The new adidas x KITH x NAKED NMD CS will release on March 4 via kith.com and nakedcph.com, before rolling out to global adidas retailers on March 11. Check out the shoe above.
