While that maybe straightforward, it is not always easy for our customers to tell the difference among the various types of Sole Protector™ units we offer. What Comes In Each Package?
What you get with each order really depends on what you order.So instead of looking too closely at various order combinations, below is an example of the main package contents which hopefully makes it easier to understand what you get once you buy. If you still have questions, please reach out to us here.
*If you order multiple Sole Protectors™, all of the units you ordered will be in the same package. The same goes for gifts and other extras unless specified otherwise.
*Each package of Sole Protectors™ gets one instruction card but for the purposes of this example, the back of the instruction card (red portion) & the front (white portion) are shown.
SP vs SP+
Pictured above is the original “Regular” Sole Protector™ (SP). This unit is extremely thin and incredibly strong. Most importantly, it really addresses the “yellowing”problem that sneaker-heads truly dread.
Like all Sole Protector™ products, the “Regular” SP is pretty easy to install but for the best fit, heat is required. This unit also features the highly recognizable “3M” label that’s synonymous with the materials and company responsible for touches like the reflective tongue found on the Nike Air Jordan “Black Metallic” V[5]. Finally, all true Sole Protector™ units come with the Sole Protector™ “authenticity” endorsement. This means that the unit has been cut and sourced to ensure the highest standards. Anything else is a counterfeit and the risk will probably not be worth the cost savings.
Pictured above is the improved Sole Protector Plus+™ (SP+). This unit is slightly thicker than the regular Sole Protector™ but not by much. With SP+, both strength and durability are enhanced making it a favorite among those looking for more protection than the “Regular” unit provides. SP+ also tackles “yellowing” and does not require heat for installation.
Sole Protector Plus+™ (SP+) features a solid brown backing and 100% “3M” authentic material. Finally, these units come with the Sole Protector™ “authenticity” endorsement. This means that the unit has been cut and sourced to ensure the highest standards. Anything else is a counterfeit and the risk will probably not be worth the cost savings.
Even with 2 units pressed together, Sole Protector™ is virtually paper thin and incredibly strong!
Sole Protector “PLUS+” ™ is only slightly thicker but more than doubles the capability of the “Regular” unit without the need for heat!
With SP and SP+ the benefits do not stop at protection. If installed properly, a Sole Protector™ will enhance your sole.
The 3M material works perfectly under lighting making icy sole and non-icy soles “pop.”
The enhanced SP+ not only provides additional traction and durability, the material’s design breaks apart light similar to “twinkle” effect you see from precious stones.
Custom vs Pre Cut
Pre-cuts are precision cut to fit a particular shoe model and sole size. For example, the pre-cut above is for a Nike Air Jordan XI [11] size 12 -13.5. With the pre-cut unit, the work is done for you and you are that much closer to protecting your kicks.
- Some models currently do not have precuts – so a custom is typically recommended
- For in-stock precuts, all sizes from GS to Adult are available
- Precuts are always in high demand so plan in advance and get your protection early
- Precuts are available for both “Regular SP” and SP+
Customs are the opposite of precuts. These units are still precision cut but you are provided with enough material (typically more) material to cover your shoe exactly how you like it. For perfectionists or people who want to safeguard beyond the base of the sole, this is a must have.
