Nike recently gave us a space hippie collection as its first big step towards providing a more sustainable future. The shoe featured portions of recycled material while still being fashionable. Now, the popular shoe brand plans to release slide versions of this colorway.
Images of the shoe show that scraps collected from the brand’s cutting room floor will be used to create the Asuna Slides. The biggest feature of this slide is the sole area which uses recycled Crater Foam, a combination of traditional Nike foam and 15 percent Nike Grind rubber.
The official release date for this slide has yet to be announced so make sure to check back here for more details on this. For now, check out some images below.
