After their semester was cut short due to COVID-19, students at the University of Pennsylvania are working together to recreate their campus on a Minecraft server.
Minecraft has been one of the top games worldwide for the past ten years reaching about 112 million active players every month. Students have been recreating the campus together over the last two weeks of March. UPenn junior Andrew Guo came up with the idea in March. To this day, the campus is still being created with much progress already made. Guo says it’s a good way for people at UPenn to come together after being seperated due to the virus.
