People aren’t exactly clamoring for an Air Jordan 18 Retro, but it appears that one is on the way.
According to Soleheatonfeet, the original “Royal” Air Jordan 18 is set for an early 2018 return to retail. The shoe originally released in April 2003 and was Michael Jordan’s go-to game shoe during his second season with the Washington Wizards. In fact, they were on his feet when he officially said goodbye to the game.
Designed by Tate Kuerbis, the Jordan 18 was primarily inspired by Italian dress shoes and race cars. Key performance tech included a hidden lacing system, air vents, carbon fiber comfort plate and Zoom Air cushioning.
It’s unclear whether or not the original pull-out box and accessories (brush, towel, manual) will be included with the 2018 version. The release date is tentatively set for January 2018 at a retail price of $225.
