The Tribeca film festival was illuminated by this in depth chronicling of the Urban experience. I don’t care who you are or where you’re from, everybody knows that sneakers are a major part of American style. It has nothing to do with a sport preference or functionality, the sneaker you wear has to blend with your style. Low vs high, football vs basketball, tied tight or lace pattern, it all matters to the Sneakerhead but all are fine. The “Kicks” movie shows you how serious the dedication to style can get and even more so, the social pressure that can cause it. I don’t want to spoil the adventure for you but I will say this, “Kicks” qualifies as action and is rated R.
